The research “Exercising of Labor Rights in the Platform Economy” was conducted by Research.ua as part of the program “Trade Unions Fighting Inequality and Reconstructing Peace and Democracy in Ukraine,” implemented by the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO) in partnership with Labor Initiatives NGO, with financial support from Norway.

In the course of the research, 462 respondents were surveyed, and 12 in-depth interviews were conducted with representatives of four categories of platform-economy professions, namely: couriers (of various types), delivery couriers (groceries or prepared food), taxi drivers, and freelancers.

462 respondents, men and women aged 18 and over, working in one or more sectors of the platform economy, including:

- Couriers in delivery services of various categories (Glovo, Bolt Food, Uklon Delivery, LOKO);

- Couriers in grocery or ready-meal delivery services from supermarkets (Zakaz.ua, Varus, Silpo);

- Taxi drivers in services (Uklon, Bolt, Uber, 838);

- Freelancers on online platforms (Kabanchik.ua, Upwork, Freelancehunt).
